WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses a device with very fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. These tiny punctures stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response, which leads to increased collagen and elastin production—the key proteins that keep skin firm, smooth, and youthful.
Microneedling can be done alone or combined with serums, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), or vitamins to enhance results.
BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING
1. Skin Rejuvenation
- Improves skin texture, tone, and overall radiance.
Reduces dullness and refreshes tired-looking skin.
2. Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Stimulates collagen and elastin, which plump the skin and smooth out early sign og aging.
3. Scar Reduction
- Effective for acne scars, surgical scars and stretch marks.
- Breaks down old scar tissue and encourage new, healthier skin to form.
4. Pore Size Minimization
- Tightens the skin, making pores appear smaller.
5. Hyperpigmentation & Sun Damage
- Helps even out skin tone, fade spots, and reduce melasma.
6. Improves Product Absorption
- The micro-channels created allow skincare serums (like hyaluronic acid or vitamin C) to penetrarte deeper for better results.
7. Hair Growth Support
- When applied on the scalp, microneedling can stimulate dormant hair follicles and improve absorption of hair growth serums (sometimes used in treating hair loss).
